1. Best to just walk down the beach to Lummus Park and then over to News Cafe or one of the other outside areas for breakfast or down the street to Starbucks.

5. It's on relatively quiet stretch of South Beach and it is great to be able to walk out directly onto the sand rather than crossing the road (as is common at other South Beach hotels).

6. Service at the pool/ beach is as good as expected with just 1 or 2 bartenders on duty so if you dont feel like waiting 10 or 15 minutes, just get off your butt and walk to the bar (20 second walk from the pool or 1.5 minutes from the beach.
