1. It's directly on the beach, with beach access, there's a nice pool area, restaurant on premises with beach service and the rooms have a fridge, which is really helpful.

The on-site restaurant was strangely quiet the whole time (at one time, the super-hot restaurant OLA apparently operated out of the premises), the fitness club was strangely quiet the whole time, there's no in-lobby bar (very chic in South Beach!), and the 'hotel spa' is really just an outsourced operation that can meet you at the hotel if you request it.
