1. Upon checkout I told the manager about these inconveniences and an adjustment was made to my bill, which was very nice and was appreciated, but didn't make up for what I would expect from a 3-star hotel.

3. If this is a first trip to South Beach, please be aware that most restaurants include an 18% gratuity on the bill.

4. there is an additional $13/day 'resort fee' added to your bill that covers the cost of the chairs, towels, etc. This is clearly stated on their website and when you make a reservation, so you can't say you haven't been warned.

6. Hotel did reverse the charge only after I called and informed them I work for bank and knew my billing rights and was going to have credit card dispute charges and file chargeback.
