1. The location is brilliant - less than five minute walk from the beach, opposite all the great shops but on Collins so you don't have the noise of Ocean Drive to deal with.

4. The pool area is lovely, very clean, towels provided etc, and there is an amazing sea view, the only small niggle was that the decking area is down wind of the kitchen exhaust chimney from a resturant on the front (The News Cafe - worth a visit) and there is a smell of fried food when the wind is coming on to the shore, but we were happy to go to the beach (only a 2 minute walk & the free sun loungers and umbrella provided by the hotel are a nice touch).

5. The hotel is in a prime location, lots of restaurants nearby to buy cheap breakfast, good shopping, in fact all the attractions of South Beach are within walking distance.

6. there's a cvs, etc within walking distance and the prices are MUCH cheaper than on collins ave :).

7. But the manager had the gaul to ask us not to walk so loudly (as if we could control this) rather than apologize to his guests for the hotel's shoddy construction.
