1. The pool area is lovely, very clean, towels provided etc, and there is an amazing sea view, the only small niggle was that the decking area is down wind of the kitchen exhaust chimney from a resturant on the front (The News Cafe - worth a visit) and there is a smell of fried food when the wind is coming on to the shore, but we were happy to go to the beach (only a 2 minute walk & the free sun loungers and umbrella provided by the hotel are a nice touch).

Positives - (i) Good location, right in the center of south beach, one block from the beach and ocean drive, where the restaurants and bars are, (ii) Great rooftop pool and rooftop bar- although drinks are pricy ($15), pool has view of the ocean, (iii) friendly staff -especially the concierge, John?was very helpful with us (iv) complimentary beach towels and chairs on the beach - there are people that will plant your umbrella and do the set up for you.

7. The hotel has a great location only 1 min from Ocean Drive, News Cafe, etc. Another great feature was that the hotel provides for sunbeds, towels, etc at the beach.
