1. We were hesitant to stay at the Westin Maui Resort and Spa because it was so pricey, but it was actually the ONLY resort we could find on Maui that would accept a dog, and ended up being well worth the money.

8. As stated in other reviews, the Westin also nickle and dimes you for just about everything, which I don't necessarily mind, but it can add a decent amount of money to your trip, so budget accordingly.
