10. A year ago I first went to Hilo to look for retirement Homes for when we retire,,,We stayed at Castle Hilo,, and the first thing I remember about the place is that it was in a area that was so quiet and relax and right next to the Most Lovely Japanese Park and garden and sitting right on Hilo Bay,,,That Leaving my room just for a small walk in the park or around Banyan Drive was just so Peaceful,,,,We have been back many times,, and Love the fact that the rain in the Morning makes the Hotel feel like an old friend,,,The sun In the afternoon makes the Hotel come out and says Here I am Sitting on the Bay,,,Come and Relax,,There is a Black sand Beach less than One Mile from the Hotel,,,Where you can sit on Picnic chairs and watch the Turtles come up and sun themselfs,,,There is the Best Damn Restaurant on the Entire Island Less than a quarter of a mile up on the top of Banyan Drive,,,and that is 'KENS'!(A-Must-Visit,Try the Oxtail Stew-Hawaiian Style-Lip smackin good),,,The Rooms are Clean,,, The Beds are comforable,,, the Views are Great from either side,,,Bay or Hill.
