1. there are better value hotels, closer to all amenities (you are a captive at this Hilton unless you walk 15 minutes to the main part of the Waikiki strip).

8. I made our reservations in January (stayed in March), so the room rates were a good value for Hawaii (they went up substantially as it got closer to our arrival date).

9. Other than these slight problems I think this hotel is great value, a great location, the staff are friendly, the rooms are nice and the food was good (this doesn't apply to roomservice).
