3. The suite was great, clean, free water, coffee, tea, nice linens etc. (let me tell you I am very picky about what hotels I stay in which is usually 5-6 star hotels and I do the white sock test, inspect linens and I am cleanliness fanatic) We hurried and got dressed and rushed to the beach upon which we discovered was not a soft sandy beach as the sand was sharp and hurt our feet, it seems like ground up gravel.

6. We had the king suite which is huge but not for everyone as the price matched the quality however it doesn't really matter what your room type.

7. Since I last reviewed this property nearly eight years ago, not much has really changed:Despite being Diamond, we received the EXACT room category we booked (this, even with the new Diamond initiatives about upgrading to suites, etc.), which was a nice enough room - but clearly, there had been some maintenance issues with the room (It LOOKS like a child had scrawled on the wall with crayon or finger paint, and then it was just scrubbed off without repainting) that were not dealt with properly.
"It's really just TOO BIG ... Management take note " Read full review on TripAdvisor   2/13/2012 Vote
8. Lest anyone think I am a snob - ABSOLUTELY NOT TRUE - read my reviews, I love Homewood Suites and Hilton Garden Inns, as long as they offer service with a smile (the operative word being service).
