1. Overall safe, yeah you walk through downtown and most big city american downtowns will have bums or the like hanging around.

2. It was within walking distance of anything you needed, restaurants (TGIF was only two blocks away), train station, convenient store, the capitol, shopping.

3. Small and super overcrowded, so if you wanted to work out there you definitely couldn't, although believe me I think you'd elect for a nice walk outside the hotel.

8. I walked everywhere I wanted to go, of course I like to walk and explore, some may find it to be a bit much, but the Blue Line train is about a 5 minute walk.
