One final moderately disconcerting feature of our trip was when, upon our checking out at 3:00am to catch an early-morning flight and asking at the front desk for help confirming what we thought were the directions to the airport the desk attendant replied, 'I wouldn't know, I don't drive,' and nothing else.

2. Overall, I would recommend this hotel, but be sure to ask in advance if there they will be hosting any conferences and, if you are driving, secure your directions with the concierge well in advance and do not rely on front desk personnel to be helpful.

3. Front desk manager was especially helpful in meeting our requests as Starwood Preferred Guests, and he made us feel valued and appreciated as customers.

4. The people at the concierge and front desk were always extremely helpful and friendly and even went out of their way to help us with parking, directions to restaurants, etc. Still, I'm sure you could get a better quality stay at another hotel in downtown Philly for around the same price.
