8. I drove up after 11:30 at night and there was a helpful Security Guard to tell me about parking, held open the locked door, held the elevator for me after I checked in--generally making you feel safe.

9. Location only four stops on the Metro from the Washington Monument - recommend you pay the $20 parking fee at the hotel and use the Metro for getting around - tried to check in early (noon) and room was ready.
