4. Not only did the front desk handle the situation very professionally, but I've never been in a hotel where the housekeeping smiles at you and asks you how your day is going as you are walking down the hallway.

7. On the positive side, the hotel is walking distance to Union Station, the White House, The Old Post Office Pavilion, etc. the concierge and front desk people have been warm and very helpful.

8. Excellent front desk team, greeted with a smile each day, always asked if they could do anything, great shop too, fab location - walking distance to Capitol Building, White House, museums etc. Food in the bar and restaurant was excellent - fantastic burgers.

9. I am afraid that all the nice front desk managers will loose their jobs and I felt really unwelcome and not really as a 'guest' when I swiped my credit card, the computer spit out a room key and I moved on to the elevator without a friendly smile or any human interaction.
