1. The hotel is modern and fresh and comfortable to walk into: the foyer is spacious but with enough comfortable seating to make it pleasant to wait in and nice details like the flower arrangements which were worth a look just in themselves and enhanced at night with candles.

2. The Dupont Circle Hotel is right on Dupont Circle which is a great location - close to the Metro Station but also within walking distance of the Mall, the museums and, in the other direction, Georgetown.

3. Closer at hand, it's a nice area to be in with plenty of bars and restaurants and broad streets with handsome buildings and fine trees and gardens: very comfortable to walk around.
