3. The hotel is modern and fresh and comfortable to walk into: the foyer is spacious but with enough comfortable seating to make it pleasant to wait in and nice details like the flower arrangements which were worth a look just in themselves and enhanced at night with candles.

4. The Dupont Circle Hotel is right on Dupont Circle which is a great location - close to the Metro Station but also within walking distance of the Mall, the museums and, in the other direction, Georgetown.

5. We especially liked Kramerbooks across the road from the hotel but there are plenty of others and something that the hotel did when we checked in, which was especially helpful, was to give us a list of local bars and restaurants all in walking distance, divided by type - great idea.
