The Dupont boasts a number of positives; friendly efficient staff; clean, well-maintained rooms; free wi-fi, a decent restaurant and pub down below as well as an extremely central location with plenty of restaurants to choose from (definitely check out Ruth's Chris Steak House and James Hoburn's Irish Pub).

8. On my last day I wanted to pay for late check out, but before I could ask for it I was rudly interrupted by the person I called in guest services, only after I pointed out that I was going to pay a half day charge she put me through the reception.
