1. Polite and quick check in, basic king room has pretty plantation shutters, very comfy bed, aromatherapy bath products and nice free coffee set up in lobby in the morning.

2. Our room had an extremely comfortable bed and was also very modern and updated - nice bath products, etc. The hotel has a restaurant/bar (Dupont Circle Hotel Restaurant and Bar) which has fantastic views of Dupont Circle.

3. The hotel operation is solid, with nice-sized rooms, modern appointments, very comfortable beds and baths, and a very fine, European chic decor.

The room, located on the penthouse floor, had a comfortable bed - crisp white linens changed daily, flat screen TV, full complimentary mini bar, with large bottles of top brand alcohol, soft drinks, olives etc. The marble bathroom was fully equipped with aromatherapy toiletries, spa tub - with huge floor to ceiling window to bathe looking out on the DC cityscape or you could always watch the over bath flatscreen TV, walk in shower and a very welcome heated slate floor.

5. Our room was down the hall and was an average size with king bed, sitting area, huge marble bath with shower and seperate soaking tub (no problem with the bathrooms, all quite private).

7. Although the room we are staying in isn't huge and lacks some storage for our two large suitcases, it is well decorated (and definitely more hip than we are!) The AC works well (an extremely important feature given the hot and humid weather in DC right now) and the Kiehl's bath products are a very nice touch (my wife's favourite line of personal products -- along with L'Occitane).

8. We didn't do much at the hotel, but the bed was comfortable, the bedding felt crisp, towels were fine and kiehl's bath products are helpful.

9. The lighting in the rooms was very customizable (I know, it's a small thing but it was quite nice) and the radiant floor heating in the bath area was a welcome feature on a cold winter's morning.
