1. That is the only reason why i would not highly recommend this hotel.

2. While the hotel is good and we got decent spacious rooms, i somehow felt the woodley park area where the hotel is located is quite dead compared to say a dupont circle.

4. Enough about the trip : ) The hotel linens were great, room was much larger than expected with a nice view of the Washington Monument from our room.

7. The hotel has attractive public areas, and although a little dated we found this added to the charm and helped to convey the history of the hotel.

8. Importantly, the hotel is 2 mn walk from the metro which we found to be cheap, efficient and easy to use, and helped us navigate the city in a cost effective way - (note the Metro does not go to Georgetown - although a taxi each way is about $10.
