1. Top tip, if you join the hotel's loyalty programme (free of charge) you get added extras such as free wifi and free coffee/tea in the morning.

2. As the holiday was to celebrate my husbands safe return from Afghanistan I contacted the hotel to enquire about purchasing for our arrival a bottle of champagne which the hotel insisted on providing this free of charge which was a lovely gesture.

8. Our flight was not until 10.00pm so we arranged to late check out (there was a charge but reasonable for the fact it gave us the whole day) at 6pm and then arranged the airport shared shuttle to collect us (there is no dedicated hotel shuttle).
