1. WiFi is free but the quality and speed are not the greatest.
2. :)A few positives to note: comfortable beds, free wired/wireless internet was nice and I appreciated the complimentary coffee in the lobby in the morning.
3. Not enough can be said about a hotel having everything you need, from a fridge and microwave to free wifi (that WORKS) and use of the fitness center/pool.
4. They provide free hardline/wireless internet access which is always a plus.
5. We enjoyied the free wireless and especially the late snack room to buy snacks after a long night out in downtown was really convienent (around 3am).
6. There are couches all over so you can use your laptops and login to free wifi.
7. If you bring your laptop then they have free wireless but that is the only way it's free.
8. Others have noted you do end up paying for 'extras' like wireless Internet in your room (free in the lobby), and the food prices are outrageous (although to be fair it was very good).
9. Holiday Inn atleast provides free wifi and breakfast.
10. The Kingsize bed was really comfortable, free wifi fast, and the staff were friendly.
11. Loved having the free wireless internet in the room and never had any problems connecting or being kicked off.
12. Wireless internet is free in the lobby and in the Java Jive coffee shop.
13. Here is what disappointed me about the Austin Hilton: Small room, dowdy furniture (more like a Holiday Inn along the highway), small bathroom, extra fee for internet service in the room, very small space in hotel lobby to access free wireless internet service, fee for using exercise room (although, I admit, I didn't have to pay because I am a member of Hilton Honors with silver status).

14. Another minor gripe is that the wireless is NOT free - I mean c'mon people .
15. The king evolution room is fairly large, with a couch and free wireless.
16. Bear in mind, Austin is a town that touts free wifi in most parts of downtown.
