1. After getting into our bathing suits at 8:30pm it was quite disappointing to find the doors locked and one the hotel employees telling us it is closed for the night.

3. we booked a la fayettee suite and were disapointed to find that they all come with a cecting door!very poorly fitted conecting door, our sons were in a standard room and they dont have conecting doors.

7. We requested a high floor room and they gave us the 20th floor, right under the suites.

8. When the front desk learned that we were in town to celebrate our anniversary they upgraded us to a corner suite with a beautiful view of the state house.

10. We did receive an upgrade to a suite from a corner room - it was a great gesture by the front desk person but massage has never materialized as it had to be booked in advance with an outside party.
