Rooms were clean but as an older hotel, you can hear all the

The friends who were traveling with us were on the left side of the hotel (Room #427) and they said the nightlife out their window to the early morning hours was a little tough to get used to (there's a very big club right across the street on the corner of 4th St and Island Ave) so if
noise
bothers you I would suggest you ask to be on the right side of the hotel.

It was clean, charming, the bed was comfortable and, having brought along a little 'white
noise
' gadget, the nightclub music and ' whooping' did not disturb us.

If you are sensitive to
noise
, there are plenty of rooms away from the nightclub and you are given plenty of warning.

There is the largest night club located across the quiet street so watchout for
noise

The hotel is a bit creaky and lacks
noise
insulation, but overall my group is glad that we stayed in the Horton Grand.

The
noise
level on a Saturday night was a bit excessive, due to the proximity to so many bars and clubs.
