2. The hotel room corridors were noisy at night with individual parties being held in rooms along ours,we could hear everything in our neighbours room,in my opinion if your business was sending you here for a corportae party and you weren't personally paying then great but as a family traveller it did not meet our needs and coming form a country where smoking is totally anti social I found the continual smell of tobacco everywhere a big turn off.

7. I stayed at it for the first time about 4 years ago and it was up to date and showed well, but this recent stay was surprising for a number of reasons:The smell of smoke was pervasive throughout the hotel, something that seems to be ameliorated at other, like, hotelsCarpet in the hallways was worn and soiledThere was no turndown serviceMy first room had a lamp that had been torn off from the desk initially and was on the floorMy first room had two non-functioning remote controlsRoom service used food items were left for over a day in the hallThe TV in the master bedroom is about 7 years old (a tube TV that is flat screen, but not up to date)The spa is sparsely appointed and depressing, with little or no food to go along with the $25 a day chargeCheck in at the front was often backed up 1/2 way down the hallNo free Wall Street Journals for guests (they do offer USA Today, however)If they are trying to compete with the Wynn/Encore and Venetian/Palazzo, they need to step it up a notch and redo/renovate these areas.
