5. But if you don't mind a run by Costco on your way from the airport, you can stock up on you own Kauai coffee, Mai Tai fixings and grinds and soak the same sun at the Koloa Landing pool, and have FREE Wi-Fi to boot.

7. We left the hotel a couple of times to see Poipu and the rest of the island, but we also would have been happy just to stay in and rotate through all the pools, restaurants, and beach options.
