3. Just down the road (11 minute walk or 2 minute ride) is Poipu Beach park which is great for boogie boarding and snorkling (and there is a surf shop right that that will rent boards and snorkel gear for very reasonable prices for the day or the week).

6. The hotel staff put a bottle of champagne and some coupons in our room which was a very nice touch (the one free cabana was the best) our room was on the first floor and we could walk out to a nice grass area that was steps away from the water.
