1. We purchased a travel zoo voucher to use at this hotel and for the price we paid ($270/night + taxes and day fees) we thought it was amazing.

2. I didn't take advantage of the classes or scheduled activities, but they help make the resort fee seem more reasonable.
"Excellent property, some frustrations " Read full review on TripAdvisor   12/10/2011 Vote
3. But every single time there's either a new fee tacked on or a new reduction in service and they have finally reached the point where I don't feel like there's any sort of value proposition left.
"Another very nice stay, but the extra$$'s really add up " Read full review on TripAdvisor   10/29/2011 Vote
4. Yes, the place is beautiful, yes the rooms are large and quite nice but inclusive resort fee and tax it's easy to pass $400 / night - our stay averaged more than $800 / night including a few meals in house, drinks by the pool and a couple of spa treatments .

6. It's supposed to cost $30/day to use the spa facilities (the gym is already included with the resort fee) but there was some confusion on their part about whether the fee is waived for elite Gold Passport members and they just let us go in for free.
"Everything a family resort in Paradise should be " Read full review on TripAdvisor   8/24/2011 Vote
7. We sat down, ordered a half-bottle of champagne, and paid a $25 corkage fee so we could have a wonderful 2008 Foxen Santa Rita Hills Juliet's Vineyard Pinot Noir that we bought in the wine shop in old Koloa town.
"What a mixed bag! " Read full review on TripAdvisor   3/6/2011 Vote
8. I personally don't mind a resort fee, except the fact that you don't really get anything for it except free SELF parking (valet is extra), two bottles of water, and access to the gym.
"3-star resort at 5-star prices - you're paying for the location and that's it " Read full review on TripAdvisor   3/5/2011 Vote
9. Paying for self parking and whatever else was included in the daily resort fee seemed a little silly too but overall a great experience.
