1. But we come from VT and are not accustomed to any city noise- and we go to bed earlier than many tourists might.

2. The only time it was a real problem was about 3am one morning when some girls, well into drink, went past the front of the hotel and made enough noise to awaken the whole neighbourhood.

3. Our room was on the top (4th floor) overlooking the street so we did get some street noise.

5. Isn't this what the area labeled CONCIERGE is for? The noise is very loud due to jack hammers.
"Just okay, but I think a lot of it has to do with noisy construction " Read full review on TripAdvisor   4/5/2012 Vote
6. We had no warning that it would be that loud when we were given the room and we were paying the same amount as others staying on a higher floor, away from both the street and construction noise.

7. If the construction noise and issues had not occurred I would rank the hotel as a nice one, but I felt we were taken advantage of by being given this room that even the desk clerk cringed at the next morning when I told him which room I was complaining about.

8. We were given a room on the first floor which seemed to be fine, except that if street noise bother's you the outside rooms have windows that are against the sidewalk and street thus making it slightly noisy during the night.

9. We were in Room 123 and although we did get over the street noise, the room was right next to the lobby that was under renovation.

10. You are far enough away from the front not to be bothered by too much noise, yet only a 5 minute walk to Pier 39 - perfect.
