3. Now that the Hersha Group (owner of properties like Hampton Inn, Residence Inn, Courtyard by Marriott, Holiday Inn etc) recently bought The Rittenhouse Hotel (March 2012), maybe they will take some steps to refresh the rooms.

5. There are many good restaurants along the Square,try Rouge for lunch and Pete's diner ,two blocks away(it doesn't look like much but it is good) for breakfast.

9. The first room we were assigned featured peeling wallpaper, water damage, and a generally poor feng shui that made the room feel like an over-glorified under-renovated Marriott decorated by Bombay Company.
