1. If we had paid around $200-250 for this room, I would have been absolutely happy and would have simply ignored the chips, nicks and the burn hole.

2. The Bar does a great happy hour- it is fancy but the drinks are fabulous and $7 (cocktail) and $5 for beer/wine.

4. Try the Mary Cassat for a relaxing, indulgent afternoon tea and Lacroix for happy hour or their spectacular Sunday brunch is a must.

This was our second chance at this hotelIn my first stay I was quiet happy with the room and the service (one bedroom suite )During this second stay I made a request for a firm mattressThe hotel staff just turned a regular mattress upside downThe turndown service didn't happen every night I was unable to talk to housekeeping since nobody was answering at 7 PMThe operator answered the phone (rather than housekeeping), I made a single request ' I need turndown service and ice'.

8. The concierge at the front desk was very informative and always happy to help us either find our way around the city or find a kid friendly place to eat.

9. First and foremost, the staff, which is quite young, is superbly trained and acts as if they are genuinely happy you are at the hotel (in fact, I think they are).
