1. This hotel has the best exercise room (huge in size) of any hotel that I have ever stayed at.

2. The hotel has a very nice lobby with a bar under a wrought iron bird cage and numerous small tables where you can relax, order from a limited menu and watch a huge screen TV.

4. My only criticism would be that this is a large hotel and there are HUGE lineups at all times for check-in/out.

5. I chose the hotel as an alternative to the selection of hotels that the conference was offering and in particular for the pool, which ended up being a huge mistake as the hotel was under major renovations which made the pool not available to guests - I thought it was unacceptable that nowhere on their own website or other booking websites was it mentioned that the pool was under renovation (they did offer the Marriot pool across the street as an alternative).

6. In the lobby there are huge widows overlooking the street which sounds wonderful for parade viewing, however they are covered with photos and signs (why have the windows??).

7. The hotel is well maintained, some of the furniture in the rooms is a bit dated and im not a huge fan of carpet in rooms, but beds are comfortable and clean, and they have upgraded where it counts (large flat screen tvs in the room).

9. Since every meal was catered, I cannot comment on the restaurants, except to say the lobby bar is spacious, comfortable, and kind of fun when there is a game on the huge screen, because the locals fill it up and mingle with the hotel guests.
