What we liked: the room was nicely appointed, if a bit small (the hotel was built in the 60's or 70's and has been renovated); meeting spaces were nicely laid out; staff service was generally good (our floor maid was excellent); bell service and front desk was very good; they had a Starbucks in the lobby.

9. The hotel was extremely busy with New Year's crowds exiting and Sugarbowl crowds coming in, but they did an excellent job.

Other nice features offered by this hotel include a very central location, near all sites of interest and the cable car, very nice art, an excellent lobby bar with a giant screen TV (came in handy for the Saints - 49ers game) and the complimentry club level continental breakfast and evening drinks/snacks.
