2. Our first time in NO, so wasn't sure where best to stay but selected Sheraton New Orleans from Expedia listings and were very happy with the great central location within walking distance to all major attractions.

3. It's really pricey, but if you get a corner room on floors 3 and above with the view of the river, you'll be happy.

4. I hated the fact that we kept stepping on that area but then was happy that they had at least cleaned it up pretty well as it didn't really smell of anything.

7. They were happy to help us with directions, attractions and street car info (which I recommend if you don't rent a car, there is A LOT of walking)The rooms were also very nice and comfortable with a great view.
