1. If you don't mind walking a block or two, I noticed that there appeared to be some other public parking alternatives that would be cheaper; I ended up using the valet, which is underground and you walk down a hallway adorned with movie poster one sheets of films shot at and around the hotel (see photos below), and up an escalator toward the main entry level where the front desk is located.

2. I like the baffling maze like winding stairwells that still disorientate me on my way to buy sundries, and cheaper quick serve food from the independent vendors that inhabit the third floor, which is absolutely inaccessible via any elevator I know of.

3. Also a note on the neighbourhood - we (small town Canadians) had been scared into not looking elsewhere for cheaper parking fearing mugging or break-ins, but we walked to Pitfire Pizza (about 6-8 blocks away) and back that evening, and although the neighbourhood does have some interesting residents, its quite busy and we felt safe the entire time.

4. The best solution is the valet parking, it is 35$, yes 35$ but it is still cheaper than the nearby parkings downtown.

6. There are cheaper parking rates available in the area, along flower and figueroa street, but you'll have a longer walk with your baggage.

9. I suggest you park in the adjacent buildings for cheaper rate but again, be careful as you walk back (I was being warned by one of the parking attendant to watch out my back as I walked back to the hotel, you know know what I am talking about).

10. There are plenty of parking lots within distance of the hotel and are much cheaper.
