1. Another oddity was that the desk was positioned so that it partially blocked the bathroom door unless it was pushed all the way under the desk.

3. All of this positive experience was even before seeing the hotel staff spring into action to take care of guests during the Back Bay blackout on March 13th.

4. What made this even more evident was that we were in the hotel during the recent power outage, and the way that the staff dealt with this difficult situation highlighted their professionalism and determination to make sure that our stay remained as positive as possible, under the circumstances.
