1. From my first step through the door, I was greeted by every member of the staff within sight; the rooms and quiet and decently sized; small touches like the Aveda products in the bathroom and the turndown service with Lindt truffles.
"High quality, and it shows " Read full review on TripAdvisor   5/14/2012 Vote
2. We will be making 2 more trips to Boston over the next couple of months and as long as the rates are decent, we'd love to stay there at least 1 more time.
"Fantastic Hotel in Back Bay " Read full review on TripAdvisor   2/10/2012 Vote
3. The room size is decent though, I've seem much smaller ones in far more expensive Boston hotels.
"Good location, friendly and personal service " Read full review on TripAdvisor   1/5/2012 Vote
4. I was here on a business trip in the dead of winter and was happy to find that I could hop on a train a block away and skip out on long walks in the cold, there are a ton of great restaurants nearby (atlantic fish- nearly across the street) I could stay close to the hotel if need be and the pub in the hotel offers a decent dinner menu (standard pub fare) if you want to skip braving the outdoors altogether or if you just want to grab some wine and hang out in your room there is a grocery right down the street with a pretty notable selection.
"Charming hotel in an unbelievable location! " Read full review on TripAdvisor   12/8/2011 Vote
5. The floor in our room (925 - good room with a decent view) sloped slightly, the stairs, which our kids loved to take daily, are narrow and winding - all of this adds charm.
"Can't imagine staying anywhere else when we return to Boston! " Read full review on TripAdvisor   11/14/2011 Vote
6. The bathroom was a little small but decent.
"Lovely historic hotel - spacious room and great service " Read full review on TripAdvisor   9/1/2011 Vote
7. Room and bathroom decent size with walk in closet; nothing exceptional about it, and the double beds are small -- not sure why hotels in this price/class range have two doubles instead of two queens.
"lovely feel and great location " Read full review on TripAdvisor   8/23/2011 Vote
8. Had a decent view of the Charles river from the 10th floor.
"Very impressive " Read full review on TripAdvisor   8/13/2011 Vote
9. This location fit the bill - quick ride to the airport, close to decent restaurants that would be open when we arrived (after 9pm) and reasonably priced.
"Surprisingly nice overnight " Read full review on TripAdvisor   7/9/2011 Vote
10. This is a top notch hotel, luxurious even, at a very decent price.
