1. Neighbourhoods itself is very pleasant- with nice not overprized eateries and caffees, cinema, whole foods, direct bus to the van ness metro station.

4. First impressions werent good when we pulled up and the bell hops were actually hiding inside the hotel - look - i'm a bit strong boy and I can carry my own case thanks but it is nice to be asked.

5. Overall the hotel is nice and clean, location is great, decent views and convenient transportation, but we had booked a King Corner View room for my family with their 800 number reservations and asked for a rollaway bed for our daughter.

9. Yes there is noise on Van Ness, but, rooms are nice,staff friendly and cordial,1 block from California Street cable car terminus, and many good local restaurants 1 block away on Polk Street.

10. The room heated up nicely, the shower was as good as you get in CA these days (though the head a little short), and the overall vibe of the hotel was 'clean, comfortable, and competent.
