3. The hotel is excellently located, provided you are relatively fit and can cope with the walk to Fishermans Wharf, Embarcadero and Downtown as well as more local stuff.

5. If you appreciate excellent Espresso and a quirky place to sit and read or chat, the cafe Cinque Terre across from the hotel is the place to go.

6. We were guests for 2 nights and the service is excellent, the room was pretty clean, with a great view of the city, the only thing that we didn't like was that the pool was not warm enough to use it at night .

7. There are a lot of excellent restaurants within walking distance (Ruth's Chris Steakhouse is across the street) and Chinatown is about a five minute ride on the cable car.

8. Public transport in SF is excellent and the hotel's location, although not in the very centre of town, is near enough, and located on Van Ness Ave and California, which have frequent buses, meant an easy bus ride to Fisherman's Wharf and downtown.
