2. It took me several calls and I finally had to physically come down to take care of two problems in my room that the desk staff didn't even acknowledge until the valet reminded them to call someone.

6. When I got to the hotel we arrived a little late for the inTouch wine and social hour but the front desk staff (Kathryn) took care of me by providing a voucher for a drink at Jasper's which is part of the hotel.

7. Be careful about wandering too far west into the Tenderloin if you're not used to stepping over people and the strong scent of urine, but union square to the east provides easy tourist access.

9. Clearly, the staff at the Serrano do not care about their customers because by not taking us seriously and just looking at our legs for themselves, they are going to continue renting bed bug infested rooms 503 and 507 (and who knows how many other rooms) to unsuspecting travelers with bed bugs.
