It was my friend's birthday -- I spoke with the chef (of Ponzu) in the evening whether it was possible to arrange for a cake to bring in the birthday at midnight --- he was so charming & helpful & served up this beautiful platter of awesome desserts plus a cake & most importantly did all of that personally.
