1. I have been to NY before and know rooms are small but I was still disappointed that our upgraded superior king room was so small especially the bathroom was extremely tiny.

4. The rooms are of decent size (especially the superior King and up) and well equipped albeit I find the lightning inside the rooms on the dim side, but then again that may be my personal quirk and the hotel may claim that it adds to the 'ambience' of the room.
