1. This wonderful small hotel was just the ticket for us -- charming, clean, well located, and so affordable.

2. Now, you're probably wondering how I possibly fell asleep in the first place? Well, my boyfriend and I figured out that the cleaners must use some heavy duty deoderizer that masked the scent in our room for a while.

3. We have almost nothing but good things to say about this wonderful little European style hotel, except for the air-conditioning being noisy-- so we switched it to fan only and it kept the room quiet enough and cool enough for sleeping.

8. AVOID rooms with a 20 in it (520 - 620 -720) because they are literal CLOSETS - the 'double' bed in these rooms are actually SUper singles and NOT DOUBLES> however we also stayed in the room with an 03 (603 and 703) and they are WONDERFUL double -doubles - great rate for a double/double and lovely room - large and spacious.
"Hotel 17 historic and interesting " Read full review on TripAdvisor   7/8/2008 Vote
9. One worker (James) is wonderful and accomidating, but the other 3 who worked in the evenings were absolutely terrible and aloof.

10. It does not have extras that big hotels would have, and it does have shared bathrooms, but the hotel is extremely clean, the desk staff is pleasant and knowledgeable, and the location is wonderful.
