1. The area is a lot different from the funky, yet fun grime of Chelsea.

2. Walls were not the thickest and at times you could hear the other guests (particularly the guy who had a little too much New Years fun and came back drunk and screaming at 2 am) but there are signs posted in every room to be quiet, don't slam doors, etc.

7. But all in all - aside from the fact that the decor looks like Disney`s TOWER OF TERROR (we all agreed on this) - I guess that just adds to its charm :) - we had a pleasant stay (other than the closet) -= 3 blocks from the L train -and about 5 blocks from Union Square subway and some pretty fun shopping.
