4. Location is perfect on East 50th Street between Lexington and 3rd, and be sure to visit the penthouse bar for excellent cocktails, and small tapas plates of food (quite a welcome relief from the usual huge portion sizes.

5. The room (suite) was exceedingly comfortable - the huge double bed with massage feature was uber comfy, the bathroom was spotlessly clean and well equipped with bath, shower, double sinks and good selection of toiletries.

7. It was totally luxurious, the bed was massive and had 3 different massage settings, huge flat screen tv in the bedroom, there was a separate sitting room with another massive flat screen and couch, and the blinds were electric.

9. Given that in NY hotel rooms are usually quite cramped, this one was huge with a kitchenette at the entry, large seating area, balcony, good sized bedroom and tons of closets.
