Having just a deluxe guestroom actually meant having a foyer with a coat/umbrella closet, a cool kitchenette, bathroom with rain showerhead, extra handheld, beautiful marble; french doors then opened into the bedroom with luxe furnishing, a capacious closet, sliding door to the balcony and a second set of french doors opening into a living room.

7. We only had two minor complaints: no ice machines on our floor (room service had to bring ice) and the air conditioner in the room did not keep the room as cool as we would prefer (even on high).

8. the a/c however didnt seem to work properly - it was on high, turned all the way 'cool' but i could barely feel it.

9. When I booked I think I missed the fact the all of the rooms on 50th Street have balconies - very cool and usable even in December (if for 5 mintues).

10. They have turned the gas stove off due to safety reasons, but who wants to cool while in New York City.
