1. Checking in was professionally handled and fast, and the room was 4C facing.

2. The lobby is tiny and cramped, and as this is the only area for free wifi and it was slow, I barely took advantage of it, opting instead for the super fast, free McDs around the corner.

3. There were a few items that needed attention in the room, but what was amazing was the fast and friendly response of the hotel staff to right the wrongs -- Just Great.

6. The 2 elevators were very fast, and there were no lines in front of the elevators (which are common in so many hotels in NY with s l o w elevators).

7. Within two or three blocks; St Patrick's, 30 Rock , 5th Ave and Park and Madison Ave shopping,lots of health friendly fast food and also elegant dining too.
