1. Yes, the lobby is small, but who cares - you don't spend much time at a hotel when in Manhattan.

3. When I checked in, they did not have any rooms ready, however the Front Office Manager Charles took great care of me storing my bags while I headed to my meetings.

4. Parking in NYC is not easy but the garage across the street was $30 per day and the valet took care of everything.

5. It was beautifully funished with a sofa, easy chairs, an antique desk, a table to eat at, a nice little kitchen for those who care about that in NY (including plates and silverware, a refrigeratory, microwave, etc.
