2. Since I was trying to keep costs reasonable, I looked at hotels in Lower Manhattan and the Millennium Hilton was the best deal going, and for much less than the midtown hotel rates were going for.

7. Another reason for my booking was the indoor pool which was a delight for my children, as well as the close proximity to the 9/11 memorial, which we visited.
