4. The hotel was there on 9/11/01 and has of course been refurbished and modernized, and is generally fairly well-appointed.

5. NYC hotels generally are very small but at Millenium Hilton you get so much value for money, the rooms are alot bigger than most hotels.

6. first of all, I guess it is just Hilton in general, but this hotel is arguably one of their flagship hotels in North America, and there is NO executive lounge .

9. The Hilton chain is generally tolerant of smokers, which is something to be grateful for in this city, where the anti-smoking lobby is near-hysterical.

10. The only thought we had was that the power generators on the site were on 24 hours/day as the noise is continuous and varied little in tone or intensity.
