3. My friend reports the concierge was extremely service-oriented and very pleasant to deal with - she drove out of her way to buy my favourite wine, which they didn't have in stock at the hotel.

4. Front desk staff and restaurant staff were pleasant and efficient, and when I mentioned that the toilet was not flushing properly, they made the repairs within a few hours.

5. There was a significant waiting period but when the lady came to inform us that Housekeeping had confirmed the room was now ready, she also had been able to find us a 'King Size' which was a pleasant surprise.
