2. Our room faced the water, and when we weren't out and about in the city, it provided some fun entertainment for the kids; they loved watching all the boats going in and out of the harbour.

3. On the up side, the pub attached, Elephant & Castle, is a fun place to drink, has good sandwiches and lots of patio seating and the fitness center is pretty good for a hotel.

9. In addition to the restaurant/bar on the 5th floor, there is another restaurant/bar at street level that has decent food, fun drinks, and a friendly wait staff.
